Mist and Sunshine Now Available on Pre-Order for Only $2.99 (Kindle)

Dear Readers:

A.M. Chai Literary is pleased to announce that Pat Dunlap Evans's third novel in the Curious Cellist Series, MIST AND SUNSHINE, is available for pre-order on Kindle for just $2.99. The paperback version will also be available when both formats debut on October 21, 2026. (See links below.)

What is MIST AND SUNSHINE about? After surviving several harrowing threats on Hawaii's Big Island, as described in ICE AND FIRE, the lovely cellist and part-time sleuth Marie Ingles and her defense-attorney husband Ryan return to the mainland, choosing San Francisco as their new home. Marie lands a rare spot with the Bay Area Symphony Orchestra (BASO) and is practicing feverishly, while Ryan prepares to take the California bar exam. Trouble is, thanks to his success representing clients in Hawaii and Dallas, Ryan is already in demand. His first client, a Silicon Valley kingpin, may be too devious for Ryan and Marie to take on alone. Private investigator Billy Bob Hughes and computer hacker Natalie Sherman come to their aid in this fast-paced story with twists, turns, spirals, and a bit of romance. Several characters from OUT AND IN and ICE AND FIRE make appearances, too, including ... well ... better not tell you more.
